From application
to first mission.

No prior experience is required, and a coordinator reviews every application.

  1. Apply in 3 minutes

Contact details, availability, skills and interests, experience, and an emergency contact. The liability waiver is part of the same form — it protects both you and the organization, and applications are only reviewed once it has been acknowledged.

  2. Match with a lead

A coordinator reviews every application and gets in touch about active programs that match your skills. No prior experience is required; role-specific guidance is provided where it's needed.

  3. First mission

Join a run, contribute to a project, or support a program from home. Translation, design, grant research, logistics and technology work can all be done from anywhere.

What the form
asks for.

Your application goes to SDAHA’s private Google Sheet: Google stores it, and only the people at SDAHA who handle the website’s forms see it. How we handle it

Common
questions.

Do I need prior experience?
No. Tell us your skills and interests in the application — coordinators match volunteers to programs, and role-specific guidance is provided where it's needed.
Can I volunteer remotely?
Yes. Translation, design, curriculum development, grant research, logistics planning, communications, and IT/AI work can all be done from anywhere in the world. Note your availability and location in the application.
Why is the liability waiver required first?
The waiver protects both volunteers and the organization, so applications are only reviewed after it has been acknowledged. It is part of the application form.
Where does SDAHA operate?
SDAHA is based in Princeton, Texas and works with local partners to serve communities in the United States and internationally across seven program areas — from humanitarian assistance to eco-friendly transportation.

Ready when you are.
